Terms of Use

These Terms of Use set the conditions for using Calabasas Residents Directory. By opening or using the pages, you accept these conditions. Do not use the service if you do not accept them.

1. The Nature of This Reference

Calabasas Residents Directory is a private reference that describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and historical directory collections concerning Calabasas, Los Angeles County, and California. It stores no government records and is not affiliated with the City of Calabasas, Los Angeles County RR/CC, the Assessor, Elections, Superior Court, or any other custodian.

2. Acceptable and Prohibited Use

Use the pages only for a lawful purpose. You must not use the service or information reached through it to:

  • Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person
  • Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order
  • Commit fraud, impersonation, or identity theft
  • Make an FCRA-regulated decision about credit, employment, tenant screening, or insurance
  • Scrape, republish, or copy the pages at scale
  • Interfere with the service, its security, or its availability

3. No Consumer Report

The service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 and following. Nothing on these pages, and nothing returned by a linked search provider, is a consumer report. It must not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

4. Outside Links and Providers

Links may lead to government portals, libraries, archives, or sponsored search providers. Each outside service sets its own rules, prices, availability, and data practices. Calabasas Residents Directory is not responsible for those outside systems or for a result they return.

5. No Promise of Accuracy

The pages are supplied on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No warranty says that a description, link, fee, coverage date, office detail, or portal result is complete, current, or error free. Confirm an important record with the office that holds it.

6. Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from use of these pages or a linked resource, including a decision made from a record reached through them.

7. Your Responsibility to Indemnify

You agree to protect and hold the site operators harmless from a claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees, that results from misuse of the pages or a violation of these Terms.

8. Copyright and Limited Quotation

The original writing, design, logo, and layout belong to the site operator and are protected by copyright. A link and a short attributed quotation are welcome. Full-page republication or systematic copying is not permitted.

9. Revisions

These Terms may be changed by posting a revised version on this page. Continuing to use the service after a revision is posted indicates acceptance of the new wording.

10. Suspension or Removal of Access

The operator may block or limit access, without advance notice, when a person violates these Terms or abuses the service. That remedy does not limit any other available remedy.

11. California Governing Law

California law governs these Terms without applying conflict-of-law principles. Public-record references on the pages are informed by the California Public Records Act, Government Code §§7920.000 and following. That statute does not override special access rules for voter files, vital certificates, sealed court material, or other exempt records.

12. Severability

If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted.

13. Questions About These Terms
