A single current list of Calabasas residents does not exist. The useful pieces sit with different custodians: the Los Angeles County Assessor connects parcels to addresses, RR/CC indexes recorded instruments, Elections handles restricted voter services, and libraries preserve regional directories. This private reference organizes those paths so a name, street, or historic address can be matched to the right source.

Why This Reference Exists

Printed Calabasas directories are not a complete modern source, and the city incorporated only in 1991. Older household clues therefore often sit in Los Angeles County and regional collections rather than in a city-only register. Current parcel facts, the county recorder's 1851-present deed holdings, city permit files, court indexes, and library shelves each answer a different question.
