Privacy Policy

Calabasas Residents Directory collects little information. The reference pages point to public records and regional directory collections in Calabasas, Los Angeles County, and California; they do not require an account or keep an official record about a visitor. This policy explains what may pass through the site, what outside portals control, and which California choices may apply.

Information You Send

If a visitor enters a name, phone number, or address in a search box, the submission goes to the third-party provider that powers that result. Calabasas Residents Directory does not keep a copy of the search in its own records. A message sent to the contact route is used only to read and answer that message.

Routine Technical Logs

Hosting systems may record an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time stamps. Those ordinary logs help keep the pages available and show aggregate traffic patterns. Cookies or related tools may be used for basic analytics or, where enabled, advertising measurement.

Why Information Is Used

Technical information is used to operate the directory, find faults, understand broad page use, and improve the service. The operator does not sell visitor lists or build a personal profile for each reader. Search-form submissions remain subject to the provider that receives them.

External Portals and Collections

Links on the Calabasas pages lead to Los Angeles County Assessor and RR/CC services, Elections, Superior Court, California state portals, libraries, archives, and sponsored search tools. Once a visitor leaves these pages, the outside provider's privacy notice and terms govern what is submitted. The operator does not control those systems, their retention, or their charges.

Who Can Receive Technical Data

Hosting and support vendors may process server logs to keep the pages running. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above if those tools are active. Information may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it. No other disclosure is intended.

Security and Retention

The pages use an encrypted connection. Logs are kept only for the operational purposes described in this policy, subject to the hosting provider's normal retention practices. There is no account here, so the operator does not hold a site password or resident profile for a visitor.

Visitors Under 18

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. The operator does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information through the contact route, a parent or guardian may use the Contact page to request its removal from the mailbox and available logs.

California Privacy Choices

Depending on the person and the business involved, the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, Civil Code §§1798.100 and following, may provide rights to know, delete, correct, limit sensitive-information use, and opt out of sale or sharing. California's Delete Act, Civil Code §§1798.99.80 and following, also provides a centralized data-broker deletion process through the California Privacy Protection Agency.

Those laws concern covered businesses and brokers. They do not let a visitor erase a Los Angeles County deed, court file, voter record, or city permit through this private reference. Requests about information held here can be sent through the Contact page. Requests about a government record belong with the custodian, and special voter or vital-record rules still apply. California's Public Records Act, Government Code §§7920.000 and following, is a records-access law, not a general deletion right.

Changes to This Policy

When the data practices or legal references change, a revised policy will be posted here. Continued use after the revision date means the updated wording governs future use of the pages.
